Join the Motherhood

Hello there! Hopefully, you have stumbled upon this blog because you either are a mom or are about to become one. If so, congratulations! Also, my condolences. Motherhood is the best job in the world. It is also the worst paying, most time consuming, and least recognized job out there. I can just picture the job posting now... Looking for: one Mom. Little to no experience required. No education needed. Requires being on call 24/7 and being willing to work night shifts. Must be willing to commit to at minimum the next 18 years. No pay, no health benefits, no support from management, oh, and did I mention no pay? Which is why sometimes it really does take a village. 

My hopes and dreams are for this blog to become a place where moms can find some sort of sanity. Where we can laugh, or cry, it out together. Being a mom is hard work, but it becomes easier when we share the load. Sometimes, when it feels like life couldn't get any harder, all we need is another person to tell us that we are actually doing okay. That we'll get through this. And they can say this to us because they've been in our situation. We all have hard times, but we all also have great times too. We just need a place where we can share all of our crazy stories.

So I am asking you to band together as the Brotherhood of Motherhood and join our mission to help each other out through life's toughest job: motherhood.
